I'm Veil, a nonbinary, self-taught digital artist, concept creator, character designer and writer.Ever since I was young, my artwork has always been about gloom, moodiness, wonderfully dark atmospheres and identity.With each piece, I typically integrate gothic elements, desaturated and often monochromatic palettes, grungy textures, an abundance of hatching and heavy symbolism. Given my range, however, I can deviate quite drastically from my usual formula, producing simpler and more vibrant pieces from time to time. 💖With art and writing, I prioritize self-expression, freedom and the core of one's identity, as well as why I personally believe the exploration of oneself is so important.

Firstly, the best way to communicate with me for commissions is through Discord (@cozenveil), but if that doesn't work for you, any of my socials that you prefer to contact me on work fine.Secondly, my goal is to match your vision as precisely and faithfully as possible. This means it's up to you to offer reference images and detailed descriptions of things such as the overall composition, atmosphere, posing, expressions, perspective, art style and other miscellaneous details. Any details you leave out will be entirely up to my own personal interpretation, so I ask that you get as nitty-gritty as you can (unless, of course, you want me to handle the details you don't much care for).In addition, I will send you a few drafts— not sketches — to slowly work our way towards your ideal vision for the piece. Then, I'll send the first sketch, followed by secondary sketches made with various tweaks and adjustments that adhere to your wishes, and lastly, the final sketch, which you yourself will confirm the finality of. After you've paid the 50% upfront following the finalized sketch, you'll have a day or two to reconsider purchasing the commission, otherwise the piece becomes non-refundable beyond that point.Furthermore, if you want the absolute HIGHEST QUALITY version of your artwork, I will send it via my email, [email protected].
